Don’t just wish,

Vote 4 Bish.

So many people wish they could enact positive change in their community.

My name is Bishop Carasquero, and I’m not running because I have all the answers; I’m running because I care about the future of Revelstoke.

I’ve spent plenty of time wishing certain things were different, and I know I’m not alone.

That’s why I decided to run for council. I want to represent younger voices, get more people participating in local government, and help build the Revelstoke we can all continue to live in.

So… don’t just wish, Vote 4 Bish.

Issues I Care About

Maybe you wish housing was more affordable.
Maybe you wish we were better prepared for the next wildfire.
Maybe you wish we had more spaces for people to gather.

Me too. And that’s why I want to turn those wishes into my council priorities.

In my work with Leave No Trace Canada, I build national marketing and communications strategies, while also supporting the growth of the non-profit through administrative organization and partner development.

During my time with the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, I developed and led our communications strategy. If you bought a membership, became a sponsor, or attended events like the Vintage Ride or the Alpine Community Clean Up, these are just a few community-based initiatives that I helped organize and host.

With CSISS, I co-led the design and delivery of public education campaigns across the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District. A large part of my role was showing up in the community to talk about invasive species and how we can protect the places we live and recreate.

At Tourism Revelstoke, I supported regenerative tourism by promoting local non-profit events and initiatives that brought residents and visitors together while encouraging responsible travel and protecting what makes Revelstoke unique.

My CAmpaign goals:

  • Bring a younger perspective to council.

  • Get more people to vote.
